All New Weapons in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3: Complete Guide

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 introduces 4 new weapons at launch: the Extending Focus Shotgun, Surgical Burst Rifle, Chaos Exploder Rifle, and Lancehead Pistol. The Bank Shot Pistol and Shock Rocks arrive later in the season via mid-season updates.

Weapons at Launch

Extending Focus Shotgun

A shotgun with an extending barrel that lengthens as spread tightens across a 3-round volley. Each shot has tighter spread than the last, giving it longer range than typical shotguns. Effective at mid-range for a shotgun. Available in Uncommon through Legendary rarities. Found as floor loot, in chests, and vending machines.

Surgical Burst Rifle

A precise 3-round burst assault rifle with extremely low recoil and minimal damage falloff. Performs well at long range thanks to its accuracy and tight spread pattern. Available in Uncommon through Legendary rarities. Uses Light Bullets.

Chaos Exploder Rifle

The Dark Voyager’s heavy assault rifle firing explosive cubes. Each cube detonates on impact or after a short delay. Effective for area denial and flushing opponents out of cover. Uses Heavy Ammo. Available as floor loot, chests, and vending machines. A Mythic version is obtainable from the Heatwave Harbor duck race.

Lancehead Pistol

John Wick’s signature sidearm with a 21-round magazine. Its unique mechanic: when you reload from empty, you throw the magazine at nearby enemies for bonus damage. Uses Light Bullets. Available in Epic and Legendary rarities. A Mythic version is in the Cluster Coast vault.
