Fortnite Player Equality

The Fortnite Development team has been cautious with maintaining fairness among players.

This is greatly evident with its limitations on its virtual currency V-Bucks Despite the currency being one of its major sources of revenue it seems that it cannot be used to purchase any items that offer a significantly great competitive advantage such as more health. This creates a level playing field whereby the player’s experience and expertise in the game is one of the major contributors to the success of the player.

The Fortnite loot pool also enables fairness as players can only access items such as weapons from chests, once they land and seek for them. No one is pre-equipped with assault rifles and one easily loses the loot after being eliminated. Finally one of the best ways fortnite ensured fairness was through the introduction of Battle Royale.

Battle Royale is one of three game modes along with Save the World and Fortnite Creative. It is the only one that is free to download and play and therefore removes the entry barrier of having to purchase a game or enroll to a subscription service therefore making it available to all.
